Managing Associate

Richard established The HSQE Department Ltd based on experience gained during 30 years working in the public & private sectors in the UK and overseas.  During this time Richard progressed from technical specialist to managing manufacturing sites, so really understands the sometimes conflicting priorities involved and is proficient in the practical application of legislation and systems for the management of environmental, health & safety, quality & HR matters in a business setting. Richard is active in the Somerset & Dorset Manufacturing Network, the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment and has served with numerous Trade Associations and environmental panels, helping to shape PPC legislation. Other professional interests include Lean Manufacturing, team building, organisational performance improvement and the management of innovation.
