Richard Shearwood-Porter addresses Sustainability Live 2013

The EU's Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) came into force in December 2012 and becomes law in the UK from July 2014. Managing Associate, Richard Shearwood-Porter, opened the Energy Management Standards session in NEMEX Theatre Two, where he introduced ISO 50001:2011, outlined the business benefits and explained how the standard can be used to meet some of the requirements of EED.

BS EN 1090-1 & CE Marking of structural steelwork
From the 1st of July 2014 it will be a legal requirement to CE mark structural metal components supplied for civil engineering purposes. If you import or manufacture components or kits with a structural use, are you able to show that you comply with the Construction Products Regulations and BS EN 1090-1?
