Richard Shearwood-Porter
Managing Associate
Richard Porter set up The HSQE Department Ltd with experience gained from a long career in manufacturing and consultancy, which includes product development, customer service, quality control, environmental management and safety management and operations. Because Richard has spent a long time with dirt under his fingernails, he believes in light-weight, but effective and flexible management systems that support business needs.
Richard has a long track record as a registered consultant with government-sponsored business support services such as the Business Link "Improve Your Resource Efficiency" programme, Growth Accelerator, the Manufacturing Advisory Service and the West of England Growth Hub; and has provided pro bono support for the West of England LEP Low-Carbon Group.
